+DMSL 04: Why Hello!

Lately, I've been obsessed with my Sharpie gold marker. Can you tell?

Lately, I've been obsessed with my Sharpie gold marker. Can you tell?

Why hello Friday, it's so nice to see you once again. It's been one  wet and foggy week. The gloomy weather just seems to suck the life out of anything bright and beautiful. I found myself day dreaming about warm kisses from the sun as I lay out on a wooden jetty over looking the Caribbean Sea. Let's not forget with a cold shandy at hand. Until then, I will have to keep dreaming. Hopefully you found a little sunshine through the cold this week.

Cheers!

+DMSL 03: XOXO Pre-Valentines Day

It only seemed like just the other day it was Christmas, then New Years and now Valentine's Day is literally right around the corner. 2014 has taken off on a haul, leaving the weak and faint out of sight. Feelings nothing but inspired because of the melancholy weather which we've been experiencing in lately. I decided it was best to shake off the winter blues by getting started on a variety of traditional hand painted designs, prints and note cards for the upcoming season of love. Hope you enjoy the process shots and don't forget to stay tune for further updates and prints.

Cheers!

How incredible is the camera quality on the new Apple 5c. Just spectacular!

+DMSL 02: Chalkstrations

A few months ago, I came across the beautiful, hand lettered chalk work of Dana Tanamanchi, much like her inspiration (Louise Fili), I instantly feel in love with Dana's delicate murals and installations. Since then, I've vow to make wise use of our battered 24' x 36'  office chalk board. Welcoming the students with fun weekly updates, events information, holiday notes and a little office (kitty humor). Make sure to view more and previous chalkstrations here. Stay tune for more chalk-dates.

Cheers!

+DMSL 01 : Viva Las Vegas!

What better way to kick start my first blog posting other than with the wonderful captures from my recent adventure, Las Vegas. I was lucky enough along with two other creatives from work to endure 4 days in the infamous city of sin. We embarked on what most said to be, "the most life changing" trips of our lives. The reason? Why Photoshop World of course ( while may I add was the highlight of the entire trip ). Vegas was an ongoing spectacle, which left me with traumatizing nightmares of native locals flickering ""not so discrete" pornographic cards at each pedestrian. Not to mention, the overpriced dining. Nonetheless, the food was worth every penny! Needless to say, if there is one thing that I took away from this trip was that this was no place for a college student on a budget. Despite the overwhelming state of Vegas, I still awe at the sight of mountains peering in the background, calling us out to play. Until next time, Viva Las Vegas!
